Alfredo Darquea

Alfredo Darquea was born in Ambato, Ecuador. His international experience has driven his career through many industries in developed and developing countries around the world. Alfredo has worked in business operations for IBM Central America, coordinating massive marketing projects and developing new business initiatives for the area. His non-profit experience comes from working with FINCA Village-Banking which gave him an appreciation of how important the accessibility to financial and technological resources is to the progress of low-income communities. Most recently, he worked in account management for a communications agency in Washington, DC focused on socially and educationally-minded communication initiatives for clients such as DOJ, NTSA, Lance Armstrong Foundation, Neighborworks America and Boy Scouts of America. He joins One-Economy Corporation with the expectation of continuing his commitment to serving low-income communities and finding ways to help these better their life. Alfredo has a Masters in Communications from the University of Miami.
