Jason is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our programs in Rwanda, Cameroon, Kenya, Nigeria, Ethiopia, and South Africa. He works with our local Beehive editors in each country to set and meet deadlines, and he ensures timely launches of our Beehive websites. He engages local stakeholders in each country to identify the primary community development issues that they face and to build consensus around One Economy’s methodology.
Jason plays a key role in business development, as he participates in conversations and meetings to discuss One Economy’s international work and composes concept papers, proposals, and budgets to request funding. Jason also helps develop long-term strategies for One Economy's international expansion.
Jason completed his undergraduate degree at Georgetown University in May 2007. Enrolled in the School of Foreign Service, Jason majored in Culture and Politics and earned an honors certificate in International Business Diplomacy. Jason also completed a six-month study abroad program in Paris, taking classes at the Institut des Etudes Politiques (Sciences Po), and he is fluent in French. Jason loves to travel and read, and he is an avid supporter of all Chicago sports teams.
